Happy November!

I love Thanksgiving — it’s all about two of my favorite things: family and food!  There is nothing better than having my house filled with the unique smells of holiday cooking and being surrounded by my nearest and dearest.

At the beginning of our Thanksgiving dinner we go around the table and share one thing we are thankful for. Although the themes are pretty consistent from year to year (family, friends, health) it’s a powerful reminder of some of the significant and foundational things we often take for granted.

Gratitude is one of the powerful tools we have at our disposal to focus on what’s working instead of obsessing over what’s not.

Don’t just take my word for it, check out the evidence!

The possibilities are endless when we practice gratitude, so let’s not wait until Thanksgiving to focus on it.  Let’s start now.

I’m launching a Gratitude Challenge – every Monday in November I will send you a quick exercise to start your week focusing on all the things that are going right in your life. Please subscribe and share this link with your friends – I’m sure they’ll be grateful that you did!

In gratitude,

Laura
